Everybody's Organizing | Seriously Easy Tips and Tricks to Keep Your Apartment in Tip-Top Shape

Supplies and tools needed to apply these easy tips to organize your apartment.

It’s time - the new season is in full force, vacations are being planned, kids are daydreaming of skipping these next few months to get to summer, and yet, you haven’t even started your Spring cleaning. That’s ok - you’re not alone. It can be easy to push that dreaded Spring cleaning day, or weekend, or even week to the side when there are so many other things to be worried about. However, you’d be surprised at the benefits of keeping your space organized. As well, keeping both yourself and home put together and ordered is not as daunting of a task once you realize how little work you need to put in for some truly amazing results. So, here are several ways you can keep your gorgeous Acero Stadium home organized with minimal effort.

Let’s Get Lazy… in a good way.

We’d argue that the Lazy Susan might be the best thing to happen to the entire concept of organization and perfect for keeping almost any space in an ordered manner - all with very little effort! You can grab one at your local Target or even Amazon if you don’t have the time to make the trip! They come in all different styles and sizes to fit wherever you need them to. In fact, look into throwing one in every room: in the cupboards for spices, the fridge for drinks, condiments, & food; the bathroom counter for your skin & hair care, or on your table or desk for your work-from-home office supply needs. They are good nearly everywhere! So, pick up a couple, fill them and enjoy that good feeling of being organized without having to put almost any thought into it!

Contain(er) it all!

If round isn’t really your style then using some good old regular containers are sure to be your next best friend. Talk about every shape and size - there almost isn't any household item that wouldn’t fit into some form of one. Now, don’t just get a couple of big ones for storing holiday decor or a few little ones for leftovers - take advantage of these puppies in every corner of your space and discover how clutter can become a thing of the past! Throw them in your drawers for utensils, make-up, office supplies, or silverware. Put them in your fridge for food, under the sink for cleaning supplies, in the closet for clothes, blankets, or towels, and even throw a couple on your coffee or side tables and for remotes, papers, and everything else that ends upon them. They are available almost anywhere and good for almost anything - so what are you waiting for?

Wall It Up! (In a healthy way).

So, let’s say you’re already ahead of the game and currently own more Lazy Susan’s and containers than you’d like to admit. Well, it might be time to start looking up and around. Wall space storage is almost consistently under utilized - and now is their time to shine! Luckily, there are many options available and if you’re into DIY, then you have even more options! However, for the sake of time, look into getting some shelves that don’t need screws like these, these, or these - depending on your style. There are many out there that can hold quite a bit of weight, look great, and take less time to put up than you think! Also, look into throwing things on shelves that aren’t just books. One in the living to lift up your plant babies, one in the kitchen for those extra cups that won’t fit (or you want to show off!), even one near the door for that easy place for your keys, wallet, and phone. However you’d like to use them, walls are always ideal for storage and organization assistance.

No matter how you want to organize your home, it doesn’t have to be a difficult task when you have the correct supplies. In fact, you can be lazy about it and still get great results!
